Church Reopening

Hallelujah and Amen!

The Office of the Texas Attorney General and the Office of the Governor have been providing joint guidance regarding the effect of executive orders on religious services conducted in places of Worship. Listed below is the latest guidance concerning the opening of First Baptist Church of Heath!
Based upon much discussion and prayer, Pastor Mark and the Deacons have made the decision to open our Church beginning this Sunday, May 24th.

However, there will be certain health protocols that will be adopted to protect the health and safety of our members and guests.
Please note, public health guidance cannot anticipate every unique situation. However, we will stay informed and take actions based on common sense and wise judgement to protect the health of all that will be attending FBCH.

Listed below are the guidelines we will be adhering to for the next several weeks:

1.  Entry into the Sanctuary will be from the front of the church only.  Masks are recommended if possible.

2.  There will be NO Sunday School (Adult or Children), NO Children’s Church and NO Nursery services.  You may bring your children into the Worship Service but Children MUST sit with their parents.

3.  We strongly recommend the “at-risk” population not attend services at this time.  The “at-risk” population is defined as those who are 65 or older, especially those with chronic lung disease; severe obesity; diabetes; chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis; liver disease; or weakened immune system (from the Texas Guidelines).

4.  Ensuring proper spacing between attendees:
1.  At least 2 empty seats or 6 feet between families.
2.  Alternating rows will be blocked off for use.
3.  1 person in the bathroom at a time.

5.  The offering plate will be placed in the foyer.

Your cooperation as we go through these difficult times is appreciated.  We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
